BRITISH POLICE SEEK WITNESSES FOLLOWING BRAZEN ARMED ROBBERY AT JEWELRY STORE

British police are seeking witnesses following a brazen armed robbery of a jewelry store during the middle of the day at the weekend in which an undisclosed amount of jewelry and money were stolen. According to a police press release, three masked men brandishing knives entered the jewelry store on a main road during the busy Saturday afternoon shopping period.

One of the men threatened members of staff and demanded that they do not move, whilst the other two started grabbing cash and jewelry from inside the store. The robbers drove off in a stolen Ford Transit van, which was later found abandoned.

“This was a brazen attack that took place during a busy Saturday afternoon on a very busy road. The robbery has had a great impact on the owners at the store not only emotionally but financially and left them and their staff feeling very distressed. If anybody has any information then I would urge them to please contact police,” appeals Detective Constable Jon Ashcroft.
