Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels & Jadeite auction in Hong Kong on October 4 will showcase a “spectacular range of extraordinary and accessible jewels”, according to the auction house. The sale will feature diamonds, gemstones, natural pearls and jadeite, alongside “unique creations by legendary jewellers”.
The two highlighted lots to be auctioned off are a Very Fine Diamond Ring by Cartier, estimated at $1,417,790 – $1,804,460; and an Exquisite and Very Fine Sapphire and Diamond Ring by Van Cleef & Arpels, estimated at $2,255,575 – $3,222,250.
Other noteworthy items to be sold are : a Pair of Ruby and Diamond Earrings, estimated at $360,892 – $451,115; an Exquisite Fancy Red Diamond, Pink Diamond and Diamond Brooch, estimated at $451,115 – $515,560; a Rare Belle Epoque Diamond Choker by Cartier, Paris, from 1909, estimated at $425,337 – $541,338; and an Impressive Pair of Diamond Pendent Earrings, estimated at $708,895 – $837,785.
