120.4 carat Type IIa D colour diamond recovered from Lulo

LUCAPA ACHIEVES $1,868 PER CARAT IN LATEST SALE FROM LULO

Australia-based Lucapa Diamond Company announced that its partners in the Lulo mine have netted $4.1-million from the sale of diamonds recovered at the Angolan mine, Mining Weekly reports.

 

The parcel of 2,209 carats of Lulo diamonds sold at an average sales price of $1,868 per carat. The latest sale brings the total sales for the calendar year to $32.1 million.

 

The next sale is scheduled for late October and will include the 104 carat and 172 carat Type IIa D-colour diamonds recovered earlier this month.
