The following information will help you prepare for your visit to the Israel Diamond Exchange.
1. To gain entry into the complex, you are required to hold an invitation from one of the offices within, who will arrange with the exchange secretariat to have a special “Buyer” tag waiting for you at the admissions desk of one of the 4 buildings. You will be required to submit your passport or other photo-ID card at the desk in exchange for your tag. Your documents will be returned to you at the end of your visit. Once inside the complex, members of any of the bourses of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses can enter the trading hall upon presentation of a valid membership card.
2. A buyer's tag allows you to walk around the complex. We recommend making appointments in advance as there are 1,100 offices in the complex to choose from.
3. If you do not know anyone here, contact the Israel Diamond Institute, and ask for a copy of the “Approved Exporters List.” You can contact exporters prior to your visit and arrange to meet with them.
