One of the highlights of the 3rd day of the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show opened was an invitation only gala dinner sponsored by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies.
Six Israeli diamond companies had their diamond jewelry on display at the show, including Sorum Diamonds, Aharonoff Creations, Yakubov Diamond Couture, Shlomo Bichachi Diamonds Corp, Moti Kashi Diamonds and Leibish & Co.
Sorum Diamonds, at booth 2-F38 at the show, began diamond trading in 1992. The company imports and exports rough and polished diamonds on a very large scale, including all sizes, shapes and qualities.

Aharonoff Creations, which is exhibiting at booth 2-F35, manufactures top quality diamonds – rounds, fancy shapes and fancy colors. The company specializes in large stones of 1 carat to 20 carat and is well known for its Excellent Make.

A record 115 Israeli diamond companies are participating in the show which runs until March 6th. The Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show coincides with the Hong Kong International Jewelry Show which began today and finishes on March 8th. Around 4,000 exhibitors are expected to gather at the twin shows.

Hong Kong is Israel’s second largest market for polished diamonds, representing close to 30% of total polished diamond exports. In addition to Hong Kong, Israel supplies polished diamonds to China, India, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and other Asian markets.
