Israel Diamond Exchange and Maccabee Tel Aviv delegation

THE IDE DONATES TO SICK CHILDREN IN HOSPITALS DURING HANUKKAH

As happens every year, the Israel Diamond Exchange brings joy to sick children in hospitals during the Hanukkah holiday. IDE President Yoram Dvash, Board Member Ilan Samuel and Executive Vice President of the IDE Yehezkel (Hezi) Blum, arrived at the Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital in Tel Aviv accompanied by Maccabee Tel Aviv’s stars Guy Pnini and Yogev Ohayon.

The delegation brought gifts to the children hospitalized in the various wards, as well as well sufganiyah – the traditional round jelly doughnuts of Hanukkah. The children also received a special gift – a Maccabee Tel Aviv trolley, the team’s flag and a branded keychain, as well as Hanukkah gelt, chocolate coins and a dreidel.

IDE President Yoram Dvash said: “IDE members donate to Safra Children’s Hospital and Dana Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital all year long and help whenever they can. Once a year, in Hanukkah, we arrive to bring a little joy to these heroic kids. We’re proud to be able to give them these humble gifts, and wish them a speedy recovery and a Happy Hanukkah”. IDE members will also visit the Safra Children’s Hospital.

The IDE delegation was accompanied by senior staff of the hospital – Senior Pediatrician Prof. Shlomo Weintraub; Dr. Ronit Lubetzky, Director of the Pediatrics Department at the hospital; Dr. Ronit Elhasid, Director of the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department at the hospital; and Ms. Tamy Zamir, Nurse Manager.

We wish a speedy recovery and good health ahead to all the children, and Happy Hanukkah!
