The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) is reaching out to diamond technology companies around the world to invite them to exhibit at DiamTech, which will take place during the International Diamond Week (IDWI) from February 13 – 16, 2017.
As in past years, at DiamTech, technology companies and high-tech service providers will be able to present their latest innovations in diamond manufacturing, computerized decision-making systems, diamond scanning and imaging, e-commerce technologies and more, in a special location adjacent to the IDE trading floor.
Israel is renowned as the leader in technological innovations for the diamond industry, having introduced to the diamond world the use of laser in diamond cutting, the Sarine and OGI systems, for example.
Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) President Yoram Dvash emphasized the importance of technology in the Israeli Diamond Industry. “Israel’s added value in cutting edge technology is a great advantage to our industry. Most of the significant technological innovations in the diamond industry worldwide originated in Israel. Today, new and exciting technologies are being introduced that reflect the changes that have taken place within the industry. We want to display these innovations to the large audience we expect at IDWI”, he said.
