We’re talking about the youngest songwriter to ever be hired by Sony, and the youngest person to write and record a number one country hit on her own. Six Grammy awards later, she is finally starting to receive her due in the pop music world, as well. Swift’s new album ‘Red’ will be released in exactly a week and its first single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ has already become her first-ever number one song on the Billboard Hot 100.
Swift is a big fan of polished diamonds and seems to wear them on any possible occasion. She wore diamond earrings at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards and Billboard Music Awards and a stunning diamond bracelet when performing on the Today show in 2010. It would seem that she received the $100,000 stunner, with almost 30 carats of colorless diamonds set in white gold, for her 21st birthday from beau Jake Gyllenhaal. She is even known to have a diamond-encrusted microphone and a guitar covered with the precious stones.
