ROBBER KILLED BY JEWELRY STORE OWNER SUSPECT IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE AND OTHER CRIMES

A 20 year old man shot and killed by a jewelry store owner in California during an attempted robbery has been described by United States police officials as a person of interest in a double homicide of an elderly couple as well as other crimes, according to a press release from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The alleged robber was released on parole from state prison in February having being found guilty of burglary, possession of stolen property, rape, grand theft, trespassing and sexual battery.

In addition to the double homicide of a couple aged 92 and 95 on February 29, the alleged robber is considered to have committed an armed robbery of a donut shop and a home invasion robbery.
