MID HOUSE OF DIAMONDS LEADS LIST OF TOP ISRAELI DIAMOND EXPORTERS FOR 2016

The list of the top Israeli diamond sellers, including the 20 leading diamond exporters (by net value), was released by the diamond controller of the Ministry of Economy and Industry

 

 

MID House of Diamonds was Israel’s top diamond exporter in 2016. The list of the 20 leading polished diamond exporters (by net value) was released by the diamond controller of the Ministry of Economy and Industry.

 

Shmuel Mordechai, Israel’s Diamond Controller and Manager of the Diamonds, Precious Stones and Jewelry Administration in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, said that net exports of polished diamonds of the 20 leading polished diamond exporters totaled $1.205 billion in 2016 – 24% of the total exports of polished diamonds, which amounted to $4.675 billion.

 

Mordechai added that the list does not include 15 companies that asked their names not be published, and that their total exports amounted to $1.065 billion – 22% of the total exports of polished diamonds in 2016. Total exports by the 35 leading companies (20 published and 15 unpublished) amounted to $2.270 billion – 46% of the total exports of polished diamonds in 2016.
