GIA NOW ACCEPTS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2017, GRANTING $2 MILLION IN TOTAL

In a press release, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced that it is now accepting scholarship applications for its Gemology and Jewelry Manufacturing Arts programs, courses and lab classes.

 

GIA scholarships will total $2 million in available scholarships for 2017. Scholarships are available for distance education eLearning courses and for classes at the Institute’s campuses in Bangkok, Carlsbad, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, New York and Taiwan; and at the GIA branches in Botswana and Dubai. Applications for the current scholarship cycle will be accepted through March 31 and are available

 

Since 2013, GIA has awarded more than $6.5 million in scholarships to nearly 1,400 students.
