The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC) is set to host the International Diamond Conference on 19-20 March 2017 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, Diamond World reports.
According to the report, the two day conference “will witness Ministers from mining countries, delegates from Mining Companies, heads of Retail and Luxury brands, Int. diamond heads of various banks and other prominent personalities of the diamond industry”.
The conference will cover “all aspects of the diamond pipeline including mining, midstream, marketing & retail, international finance, valuation with KP and Diamond certification”. According to Praveen shankar Pandya, Chairman of GJEPC, the event will “bring together all the stakeholders from the world diamond industry on a single platform to discuss various challenges faced by the industry and come out with future road map”.
