MERVIS DIAMONDS CREATES WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE CHERRY BLOSSOM DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING

In honor of the iconic cherry blossoms in Washington, DC, Mervis Diamonds has created a diamond variety selling for $100,000. The ring features a 1.68 carat natural pink round brilliant diamond of VS2 clarity set in a hand-made ring of two-toned white and rose 18K gold. Design and production of the engagement ring has been a partnership between family business Mervis Diamonds and Jeff Cooper. The ring has a US$100,000 price tag.

“These first few weeks of Spring are a very popular time for couples to get engaged in Washington DC. The cherry blossoms make the perfect backdrop for that special moment,” explains Jonathan Mervis.
