Nissim Zuaretz was unanimously re-elected for another term as president of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA) during the general IsDMA meeting held on Wednesday, September 6.
Zuaretz was first elected as IsDMA’s 13th president in 2020, replacing outgoing President Jacob Korn, who had been in office since 2014. Prior to this position, he had served as the treasurer of the Israel Diamond Exchange and as the chairman of the security committee.
In addition to his public responsibilities, Mr. Zuaretz is the founder of D.N. Diamonds, one of the Israeli industry’s largest exporters. Established in 2007, D.N. Diamonds has garnered a global reputation in the field of large diamonds and is acknowledged as one of the top jewelry exporters on the Israel Diamond Exchange. Mr. Zuaretz himself has been involved in the diamond industry since 1990.
