MINING RECOMMENCED AT KAREEVLEI MINE AFTER 5-WEEK HIATUS

Operations have recommenced at the Kareevlei mine in the Northern Cape in South Africa after a suspension that lasted five weeks, BlueRock Diamonds CEO Adam Waugh said.

The suspension of operations was ordered by the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR).

The suspension was put in place by the DMR after an inspection on July 6 revealed changes needed to processing plant procedures, guard rails on the plant and trackless mobile machinery (TMM).
