Petra Diamonds Limited has recovered a 121.26 carat white diamond from the Cullinan mine in South Africa, according to a press release from the miner.
The stone is a Type II diamond of exceptional color and clarity, and is said to be an outstanding example of the large, high quality diamonds for which the mine is known.
The diamond will be sold along with a number of other high quality stones in the last tender of Petra’s 2016 financial year, which is currently underway in Johannesburg.
