Actress Blake Lively plays a wealthy New York teen in the TV series Gossip Girl, and in real life spends plenty of time wearing top-end diamond jewelry by some of the most popular designers.
Lively has made a number of appearances in a wide variety of diamond designs. For the Teen Choice Awards in August 2011, she selected a pair of turquoise and diamond earrings set in platinum, which she paired with a few platinum and diamond bracelets.
The actress attended a Pedro Almodovar tribute at the Museum of Modern Art wearing two diamond bracelets by Lorraine Schwartz (one with brown diamonds and rubies and one with brown and black diamonds) and a black gold, diamond and ruby bracelet designed by Ofira.
Blake Lively wore Lorraine Schwartz earrings set with white and gray diamonds and blue sapphires, as well as diamond, ruby, and rubellite rings – also by Schwartz.
In January 2012, Gossip Girl aired its 100th episode, in which Lively dressed up as Marilyn Monroe and performed “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” as part of a dream sequence.
