Born in 1979, Petra Nemcova is a Czech model, TV host and philanthropist. The Prague-born beauty won the 1995 Czech Elite Model Look competition, moved to Milan, and from there on her career flourished. She featured in campaigns for Benetton, Bulgari, HP, Max Factor, Victoria’s Secret and many more, including a multi-year campaign for Chopard.
In 2004, Nemcova and her then fianc? Simon Atlee were in Thailand when the devastating Tsunami struck the beach. Atlee drowned, while Nemcova suffered serious injuries. Following this tragedy, Nemcova founded the “Happy Hearts Fund”, intended to help children after natural disasters.
In 2013, Chopard partnered with Nemcova’s “Happy Hearts Fund” to create a special edition of a 19-carat rose gold bracelet, featuring a pink sapphire. Recently, Chopard launched the “High Jewelry” campaign starring Nemcova. The line includes the Red Carpet and Green Carpet collections, created by Chopard’s Artistic Director Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele.
