7.45-carat Harry Winston diamond engagement ring - estimated at US$300,000

DONALD TRUMP – MARLA MAPLES DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING UP FOR AUCTION AGAIN

Estate jewelry auctioneer Joseph DuMouchelle will sell the Maples – Trump Harry Winston diamond engagement ring for the second time at a New York auction, according to a press release from the auctioneer. The 7.45-carat Harry Winston diamond engagement ring is estimated to fetch some US$300,000.

In 1991, presumed presidential candidate, Donald Trump proposed to Dancing With the Stars contestant Marla Maples with the 7.45-carat emerald-cut diamond ring by renowned jeweler Harry Winston. Following the couple’s divorce in 1999, Maples selected Joseph DuMouchelle to auction the ring. Now the buyer of the ring has returned to Joseph DuMouchelle to sell the diamond engagement ring at auction again.

“Provenance is often hard to come by when jewelry or artwork changes hands. The Harry Winston ring has multiple levels of provenance including the fact it was made by Winston and owned by Marla Maples and Donald Trump. Fortunately, this ring has it all. The pieces included in this sale are heirlooms of investment quality,” says Owner, President and jewelry expert Joseph DuMouchelle.
