Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Now Sells “Everyday” Jewelry for $8,000
Gwyneth Paltrow is used to criticism – sometimes moderate, at times quite severe – over her occasional Goop guffaws. This time, the 49-year-old Hollywood A-lister is under fire over the price of her new “everyday” jewelry collection, IDEX Online reports.
The new pieces, branded as G through Paltrow’s online business Goop, include a $7,900 gold necklace with 1.96 carats of white diamonds. Paltrow said on Instagram that the collection was “meant to be worn every day,” but people on social media are blasting the collections as being “out of touch”, “unaffordable” and far from being “everyday.”
Paltrow, who takes off most of her clothes to model the jewelry, says on her website: “Everything here is so beautiful, you’ll never want to take it off. And it’s all so wearable, you won’t have to.”
