Cheerleader. Prom Queen. Starred in The Playboy Club. Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s career trajectory does not look like it’s pointing to a Best Actress Oscar in the near future, I must admit.
But why would you need an Oscar when you’ve got something much more desirable: Channing Tatum? Dewan first met Tatum when the two starred in the 2006 teen dance drama Step Up; they became a couple, married in 2009 and now have a baby girl. She’s still making movies that aren’t going to win any Academy Awards – like The Texas Cheerleader Scandal, American Virgin and Slightly Single In L.A. – but she’s also trying to make the world a better place as she sees it, as a vegan animal-rights activist.
At the Toronto International Film Festival screening of her flick “Ten Years” in September 2011, Dewan-Tatum wore intricately-carved white jade and polished diamond earrings by Dana Rebecca.
