Love is Now Blue: As part of Tiffany’s new Blue Is the Color of Love marketing campaign, the jeweler lit up the Empire State Building in its trademark blue for Valentine’s Day, IDEX Online reports.

56-year-old actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, switched on the blue lights and said: “As a proud New Yorker, I’m honored to flip the ceremonial switch and turn the most iconic NYC building Tiffany Blue for the first time on Valentine’s Day – a color as famous as the Empire State Building itself.”

Earlier this month, LVMH published its financial performance for 2021, reporting that Tiffany has enjoyed a record year in its first year under the LVMH umbrella. According to the report, Tiffany’s profit from recurring operations was almost six times higher than in 2020 and up 128% compared to 2019.”
