Born in 1956, Jerry Hall has made her way in the hard world of fashion with guts and grace. She was discovered by a fashion agent while sunbathing in the French Riviera, and moved to Paris to pursue a modeling career while still in her teens.
By 1977, Hall had appeared on 40 magazine covers, including Italian Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She dated singer Bryan Ferry, who gave her an engagement ring, and promptly left him for Rolling Stones’ lead man Mick Jagger when she was all of 21. The couple split in 1999, and Hall cited Jagger’s infidelity as the cause.
Recently, it has been reported by The Mirror that 59-year-old Hall has been walking the streets of London with a new (and huge) diamond ring. This was given to her by her fiance Rupert Murdoch, about 25 years her senior. The couple announced their engagement early in January, 2016, after a quick 4-month romance, and married in March 2016.
