Beyoncé, who performed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London recently for another leg of her Renaissance World Tour, debuted a pair of Tiffany earrings that spelled “Renaissance” in diamonds. Reportedly, the new pair of dazzling earring cost around $20,000
Last year, Beyoncé wore the most expensive piece of jewelry in the history of Tiffany & Co. – a 180-carat diamond necklace valued at up to $30 million – at an Oscars after-party she hosted with husband Jay-Z at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. In late 2021, the couple was recruited by Tiffany & Co. as the jeweler’s new faces, alongside The Queen’s Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy and Olympic skier and model Eileen Gu.
In other Tiffany-related news, the famous jeweler is now offering plain white bags to customers instead of its branded classic, “so they can conceal their purchases” in response “to a steep increase in street crime,” according to IDEX Online.
Similarly, Hermes and Louis Vuitton have also opted to offer plain bags to their clientele due to the same concerns. The report further highlights the alarming increase in complaints of grand larceny, specifically the theft of personal property valued at over $1,000, which has nearly doubled in the Midtown North precinct of New York City over the past two years. This precinct encompasses Fifth Avenue, an area known for its luxury shopping experience.
