Chaumet, the renowned French luxury jeweler, will design the winners’ medals for the upcoming Paris Olympics, set to take place in 2024, according to IDEX Online.
This project is an integral component of a substantial $166 million premium partner sponsorship arrangement recently unveiled by Chaumet’s parent company, LVMH. Chaumet will create medals for both the summer Olympic and Paralympic games while Moët Hennessy, another prominent entity within the LVMH conglomerate, will supply champagne and wine for the event. Meanwhile, the beauty and cosmetics brand Sephora is set to be a “partner” during the Olympic torch relay.
According to Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, the sponsorship deal, which is reportedly the biggest of its kind, “will contribute to heightening the appeal of France around the world”.
