Alan Cohen, Vice President of the London Diamond Bourse, has been promoted to President, and will replace Menachem Prager, according to Gem Konnect. Cohen has been a member of the London Diamond Bourse since 1976 and took over the role of vice president two years ago.
Cohen commented: “I look forward to the new challenges ahead. I appreciate the hard work that others have done before me in the association and I hope to be able to build on that to move LDB in a direction that benefits the diamond industry”.
Last year, The London Diamond Bourse appointed Katherine Chappell, specialist in fair trade principles, as Special Advisor for Ethical Issues to its Council of Management.
