Russian company New Diamond Technology (NDT) announced it has produced the “world’s biggest” synthetic blue diamond.
The stone weighs 10.07 carats, and was certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) in Antwerp as having SI1 clarity, “very slight” fluorescence, “very good” proportions and “very good” polish and symmetry, according to the company.
The blue stone was put on display at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair this September.
