Pharrell Williams, the American rapper turned fashion designer, has once again caught the spotlight with his latest diamond-studded accessory: a pair of Tiffany & Co sunglasses, which mark his second foray into the world of extravagant eyewear, IDEX Online reports.
Last January, during Paris Fashion Week, the 50-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist debuted his first custom-made pair. The almond-shaped frame featured two emeralds and 61 round diamonds, totaling over 25 carats. At the time, Pharrell playfully remarked, “Tiffany and I are engaged,” adding that the sunglasses were the “first of many things that I’m gonna do with Tiffany.”
Last Tuesday (June 20) Pharrell stole the show once again during the launch of his inaugural menswear collection for Louis Vuitton in Paris when he sported a fresh set of eyewear featuring an inverted teardrop design, and embellished with a dazzling array of over 20 carats of round brilliant and baguette diamonds. The event drew an illustrious crowd including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Zendaya, and Lewis Hamilton. According to reports, Beyonce – a brand ambassador for Tiffany since late 2021 – wore a Custom Tiffany T Necklace and Tiffany rings.
