SWA Diamonds, a jeweler in Malappuram Inkel Educity, Kerala, India, has conquered the title of “Most Diamonds Set in One Ring,” breaking a Guinness World Record with a ring made with 24,679 natural diamonds, IDEX Online reports.
The piece, dubbed “The Touch of Ami,”’ took 90 days to make. “It is our privilege and honor that this ring was made in India and also the owner of the ring is an Indian,” said Abdul Gafur Anadiyan, managing director of SWA Diamonds.
The previous record for “Most Diamonds Set in One Ring” was held by Renani Jewels, also in India. Renani Jewels’ “Ring of Prosperity” is set with 12,638 individual diamonds.
