Sets of Diamonds

The term ‘sets’ refers to both diamonds and jewelry.

Concerning diamonds, the reference is to small quantities of polished diamonds that are ready for mounting. Over time, as the connections between diamond traders and manufacturers and jewelers strengthened, a phenomenon was noticed whereby the groupings of polished diamonds in small quantities and of specific sizes were prepared, ready to mount in pieces of jewelry.

On the other hand, jewelers are also adapting to the framework of ordering diamonds according to specific characteristics, corresponding to specific pieces of jewelry, forming the orders according to the sets.

In reference to jewelry, the term sets refers to identical pieces of jewelry. The pieces of jewelry can be earrings, pendants, bracelets, rings, and they must have an identical design, creating a set.
