Nissim Zuaretz Elected President of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association

Nissim Zuartz was elected as President of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA), and will serve as the organization’s 13th president, replacing outgoing President Jacob Korn, who has been in office since 2014.

Zuaretz is a founder of D.N. Diamonds, a manufacturer of large stones and one of the industry’s largest exporters. He has served as treasurer of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and chairman of the Exchange’s Security Committee.

IDE President Yoram Dvash said, “On behalf of the officers of the Diamond Exchange and its members I am very pleased to congratulate Nissim Zuaretz on his election as the 13th president of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association. I am convinced that Nissim’s skills and experience will assist him in accomplishing the complicated tasks at hand. I am optimistic that, despite the global economic crisis, by working together we will be able to meet the pressing economic challenges and lead the Israeli diamond industry to achievement.”

The Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA) represents approximately 200 diamond manufacturers, who account for about 95% of the total output of the Israeli diamond industry.
