Drake’s love for expensive diamond jewellery continues unabated, as his latest purchase shows: According to news sources, the Canadian rapper just spent $1 million on a custom-made diamond necklace weighing 100 carats. The heart-shaped necklace was made by Gemma Fine Jewelry and took several months to create.
Drake also partnered with American rapper Future to buy matching gold and silver pendants depicting an owl – symbolizing Drake’s OVO Sound – and eagle side by side, each estimated at $200,000. Made by Jason of Beverly Hills, each piece has 40-carat diamonds set in over half a kilo of gold.
Last year, Drake made jewellery news again when he purchased another over-the-top “owl” from Jason of Beverly Hills – a $400,000 iPhone X case made of 18k white gold and studded with small blue diamonds. The case features a white gold OVO owl logo in the center with two diamond eyes.
