The Biggest Show in Town: The Story of JCK Las Vegas

JCK Las Vegas, held annually since 1992, is the leading jewelry event in North America. The show is open to all jewelry professionals, and includes networking events and complimentary education sessions as well as “the industry’s broadest selection of finished jewelry, gems, and timepieces”, according to JCK’s website.

 

The show is organized by Reed Exhibitions, an events organizer which also organizes Batimat, MIPCOM and the Star Wars Celebration.

 

The first JCK Las Vegas show (Jewelry ‘92, as it was known then) kicked off with some 1,300 exhibitors and 6,000 buyers at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

 

In 2011, the show moved to the southern end of the strip to Mandalay Bay, and included 2,550 companies and more than 20,000 buyers representing 23 countries
The 2015 show will be held from May 29 to June 1. Among the thousands of companies expected to attend, there are also 100 Israeli diamond companies exhibiting at JCK.
