The name of Italian designer and manufacturer Roberto Coin is considered to be one of the best known jewelry brands, not only in his home country, but around the world, as well. But the Roberto Coin line of branded jewelry was only launched in 1996. For two decades prior, Coin produced jewelry for other prestigious firms.
A feature that sets apart the work of Roberto Coin is his inclusion of rubies, which he insists upon adding to every polished diamond ring. What’s more, the rubies are not mounted on the outside of the jewelry, where they can be seen by others, but rather in the inside of the band, so that, according to Coin, they can be in constant physical contact with the wearer.
Beginning in 2007, Roberto Coin flagship stores began to open up shop. The first boutique was located in Dubai, and within months other shops opened up in Atlanta, Rome, Macau and Baku. Since that time, other Roberto Coin outlets have opened storefronts in Florida, Massachusetts, California, Utah, North Carolina, Rome, Venice, Moscow and Bahrain.
Naturally, Roberto Coin jewelry is also sold at other licensed dealers around the globe.
