Signet, America’s biggest jeweler and the parent company of Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared, H. Samuel, Ernest Jones, Peoples, Piercing Pagoda, Rocksbox and JamesAllen.com, “is aiming for full gender parity among its corporate leadership”, according to IDEX Online.

Signet, which already has a woman as CEO, has a board of directors composed of 42% women. Women also compose 50% of its leadership team and 40% “of those holding the title vice president and above”.

Signet announced it is joining the Paradigm for Parity coalition, “which is committed to all women and men having equal power, status, and opportunity by 2030”. The Parity Coalition has 130 members, among them Coca-Cola, Hershey, Linkedin, Merck, Sodexo and Walmart.
