Fabergé Launches a New Game of Thrones High Jewellery Collection

Over the next two years, Fabergé is launching a series of high jewelry collections designed in partnership with Michele Clapton, the costume designer for HBO’s hugely popular series Game of Thrones.

The collection features “design details from the dramatic sets, costumes, characters and the otherworldly landscape of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros,” according to a press release quoted by Diamond World.

The first ‘chapter’ in the Fabergé x Game of Thrones High Jewellery – dubbed “Dragon” – features five designs, with each creation limited to just ten collectible pieces. It is black and red, inspired by the Targaryen house colors. It uses deep red rubies sourced from Gemfields’ Montepuez mine in Mozambique, paired with white gold, rose gold, diamonds and black rhodium “in this striking collection of dramatic creations.”

In April 2021, Fabergé unveiled the Fabergé x Game of Thrones Egg, which sold to a private collector for $2.2 million.
