The recently concluded Christie’s Magnificent Jewels sale in Hong Kong generated a total of around $46.22 million, according to IDEX Online.
Bidders from 21 countries participated in the auction, which saw sell-through rates of 86% by lot and 82% by value.
The highlight of the sale was a 104.84-carat platinum necklace of D-color diamonds, which sold for $5.9 million. A collection of 51 pieces that belonged to retired Hong Kong actress Rosamund Kwan, and featured jewels by Cartier, Buccellati, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, and Boghossian, fetched just over $11 million.
