The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards, held on September 20 in Los Angeles, was marked by some predictable winners, foreseeable snubs, and the usual red carpet buzz for the best looks of the evening. In the jewelry department, the A-listers brought their A game, as evident by the following looks on the red carpet.
The Queen’s Gambit star wore a pale-yellow Dior Haute Couture halter gown, complemented by diamond jewelry by Tiffany worth about $800,000.

The young actress also wore platinum diamond starburst earrings, a yellow sapphire and baguette diamond bracelet, and two rings – a 17-carat yellow sapphire diamond and a platinum vine-shaped ring.
The Mare of Easttown star wore a black gown by Armani Privé, complemented by ’20s and ’30s diamond and onyx Cartier and Fred Leighton bracelets, a Fred Leighton diamond ring, and Hanut Singh drop earrings.

The earrings Paulson wore featured ethically and sustainably sourced natural diamonds from Botswana for RAD (Red carpet Advocacy) x De Beers Group’s #BlackIsBrilliant campaign, which “provides a platform for Black designers to create one-of-a-kind pieces with natural diamonds from Botswana, with an emphasis on the Red Carpet as a powerful forum for communication and visibility,” according to a press release by De Beers.
