Russian mining giant Alrosa has announced that shareholders have decided on the distribution of 38.59 billion rubles (approximately $618 million) in dividends following 2017.
According to the consolidated financial statements of PJSC ALROSA and its subsidiaries, the net profit, net of income attributable to the non-controlling interest, amounted to 77.075 billion rubles (approximately $1.23 billion) in 2017. 50.07% of this sum will be allocated for the payment of dividends.
According to a press release, the dividends payment following 2017 “has become one of the largest in the history of the company”.
