SARINE TO OPEN LAB FOR DIAMOND GRADING IN RAMAT GAN

Israel based Sarine Technologies has announced it will open Sarine Technology Laboratory – the first in the “company’s network of advanced, automated gemological labs”. The lab will be opened in Ramat Gan in February.

According to a press release, the lab will provide grading of a polished diamond’s Clarity and Color, diamond authentication and 4Cs grading. The automated grading information provided to customers will be integrated into a customizable Sarine Profile™ digital diamond report “at competitive pricing”. The services in Israel will be followed by the opening of a lab in India, planned for May.

David Block, CEO of the Sarine Group, said: “Sarine Profile™ reports combine the most accurate and objective grading […] This is the beginning of a revolution in diamond grading. In the next several years, we will witness a major shift in how diamonds are graded, and in the way diamonds are presented to the consumer, which will enable diamond products to better compete in the luxury goods market”.
