CHRISTIE’S HONG KONG TO AUCTION A $7.5 MILLION DIAMOND RING

Christie’s Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels auction in Hong Kong (November 26) will feature a varied selection of diamonds and diamond jewellery, including one very special ring estimated to fetch millions.

The highlight of the auction is a ring set with a Fancy vivid blue square emerald-cut diamond of 3.24 carats by Moussaieff. The central stone is surrounded by seven oval brilliant-cut pink diamonds of 0.41 to 0.61 carats as well as circular-cut pink diamonds. The stunning jewel is estimated at around $5.7 – $7.7 million. Another prominent lot is “Heavenly Harmony” – a jadeite bead sautoir of 68 beads, made up from two different rough stones, and estimated at around $7 million – $11 million.

Christie’s has also promised that the auction will feature Kashmir sapphires, Burmese rubies and natural pearls, as well as signed jewellery by Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Van Cleef & Arpels and Harry Winston. Chosen pieces will be on display at the Hong Kong Convention Centre from 22 to 25 November 2019.
