Edward Fleming, A jeweler based in London, is making some headlines recently by crafting some very special engagement rings: According to IDEX Online, Fleming has a new line made with precious metals “from catalytic converters.”
In partnership with the UK website Scrap Car Comparison, the rings pay tribute to the Mini Cooper, the Lamborghini Huracan supercar and the Ford Fiesta, of all cars.
The Lamborghini ring, for instance, is available in yellow and white, and features “a central diamond set in a replica of the Huracan’s distinctive exhaust tip design, surrounded by carbon fiber hexagonal detailing.” Based on the Mini Cooper’s alloy wheels, that ring has red, white and blue stones and the Union Jack flag engravings around the band.
