Swiss-based Bucherer Fine Jewellery is opening a pop-up store at Selfridges Department Store on Oxford Street, London, as part of the jeweler’s expansion in London. According to a press release, Bucherer will follow with an opening of the first Bucherer Fine Jewellery Boutique, in Selfridgesʼ Wonder Room, in spring 2018.
The new pop-up store will offer “an unusual way to discover the brand” with “selected items of jewellery displayed beautifully in the sales area”. Customers will also get an “insight into the art of hand-producing exquisite pieces as practiced by the House of Bucherer in its own workshops since its foundation in 1888”.
Bucherer, one of Europe’s biggest watch and jewellery retail chains, boasts of offering “the largest choice of Rolex watches anywhere” and a jewellery range with individual pieces made using “very rare natural-colored diamonds, unusual colored gemstones or much-sought-after pearls”. Bucherer entered the UK in March 2017.
