CELEBRITIES DRAPE IN MULTI-CARAT DIAMONDS AT THE MET GALA
The theme of this year’s Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York was “Camp: Notes on Fashion”, which resulted in plenty of over-the-top ensembles and accessories, including some mind-blowing diamond jewellery pieces.
Singer Kacey Musgraves, for instance, complemented her custom pink Moschino with Forevermark teardrop diamond statement earrings and a diamond ring. Musgraves’ stylist Erica Cloud said that the singer’s look was inspired by Moschino Barbie, “the ultimate glam girl”, and that she chose the oversized diamond drop earrings and a two stone diamond ring because they gave Musgraves a “high-low aesthetic that went perfectly with the ‘camp’ theme”.
Another celebrity who opted for Forevermark diamonds was actor Gemma Chan. Chan wore a silver Tom Ford gown and headpiece “as well as over 100 carats of layered classic diamond line bracelets and an oversized emerald cocktail ring”, according to a press release. The diamond in the ring weighed 10 carats.
