At its Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels sale (November 28), Christie’s is offering a pair of blue diamond cluster earrings with a high estimate of $8 million, IDEX Online report.
The blue diamond cluster earrings – 3.06 carats and 2.61 carats – are both pear modified brilliant-cut, certified by the GIA as fancy vivid blue color, VS2 clarity. Set with pear, oval and round diamonds in platinum and gold, the earrings are signed DM (David Morris).
The sale also highlights a 3.32-carat fancy vivid blue emerald-cut diamond ring with a high estimate of $6.4 million. The diamond is set in a gold ring with 20 square-cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 0.80-0.90-carats on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity.
