Born in Slovenia in 1970, Melania Knauss-Trump started off as a model. She modeled in Paris and Milan, appearing in numerous covers over the years. After marrying billionaire Donald Trump she switched paths, and became a jewelry and watch designer. In 2010, Knauss-Trump launched her watch and jewelry collection, “Melania™ Timepieces & Jewelry”, which she sells through the home shopping network QVC.
The Melania™ Timepieces & Jewelry include affordable jewelry such as bracelets ranging from $23 to $132, earrings for less than $20, watches, collar necklaces and rings. Knauss-Trump herself, however, doesn’t settle for $30 rings. According to Hello magazine, her engagement ring, offered by her real-estate mogul hubby, was a 12-carat stone worth $3 million.
