Drake and Jennifer Lopez are not an official item yet, but if romantic gifts are any indication, then the rapper and the veteran pop star are certainly hitting it off: according to multiple news sources, Drake purchased his new lover a $100,000 diamond necklace by Tiffany’s on New Year’s Eve.
J.Lo debuted the new purchase on her Instagram account, wearing Drake’s sparkly gift while attending his New Year’s Eve concert at Hakkasan in Las Vegas.
According to several reports, the necklace features more than 15 carats of round, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds set in platinum.
Lopez is no stranger to high-end jewelry. Ben Affleck, her former fiance, gave her a 6.5-carat pink diamond engagement ring from Harry Winston worth $1.2 million. After their break-up, Affleck requested the ring back and had it sold for an unspecified amount. The singer eventually married Marc Anthony. On their first wedding anniversary, he gave her a 14-carat lavender blue diamond solitaire ring, which Lopez called her “favorite piece of jewelry”.
