Drake’s fondness for eye-popping diamond jewelry continues unabated, as his latest purchase shows: according to news sources, the Canadian rapper went to New York jeweler Alex Moss, and commissioned an 18-karat white-gold ring set with 12 VVS oval-shaped diamonds that surround one big center stone.
Dubbed the Godfather Ring, the custom piece in honor of Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 hit The Godfather.
Drake loves to make a big splash when it comes to his bling. In the past, he spent $1 million on a custom-made diamond necklace weighing 100 carats made by Gemma Fine Jewelry that took several months to create. He also bought a real “life-size” owl pendant made of “over a kilo of gold & and over 100 carats of Asscher cut diamond,” according to his Instagram.
