Heart-Shaped Diamond Pendant Sells for $2 Million Online
Christie’s Summer Sparkle, an online auction held from August 4 to August 18, saw a 24.45-carat, heart-shaped, D-color, internally flawless, type IIa diamond pendant sell for $2 million. In total, Christie’s raked in $5.1 million from the sale, Diamond World reports.

The record for the highest sum paid for a jewel at any online auction is held by a 50.03-carat, G-color, VVS2-clarity diamond that sold for $2.7 million at Sotheby’s in June 2021.
