According to multiple news reports, often-troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is ready for a fresh start: the Mean Girls actress is working on a personal jewelry line which will be launched soon.
Lohan hinted at her new business venture while attending the recent Cannes Film Festival, captioning several photos with #LohanJewelry. In one picture, she’s wearing a long gold chain with a diamond cartilage hoop.
Lindsay Lohan has been involved in plenty of scandals in recent years, one of them involving jewelry: in 2011, the actress was charged with felony theft for stealing a diamond necklace from a jeweler in Venice, California. Security camera footage showed Lohan trying on the $2,500 gold and diamond necklace at Kamofie & Company. The owners of the jewelry store sold the footage, raising controversy, and were expected to testify against Lohan, who denied the accusations. She ended by pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft.
